Britney Spears is set to make a grand return to music by playing some extravagant comeback shows in Las Vegas worth an estimated $10 million (£5 million), according to latest reports.
The pop wreck was spotted in California on Tuesday having a business lunch with George Maloof Jr, the owner of Palms Hotel & Casino, and now insiders believe she is to stage a mega concert in Sin City to mark her return to music.
Maloof Jr. and Spears have been friends for years, and the pop star's ex-husband Kevin Federline and her father Jamie have both had business dealings with the casino boss in the past.
According to the National Enquirer, Spears is planning a "multi-million dollar stage production she hopes will jump-start her career".
A source tells the tabloid: "She wants to make a splashy comeback in Las Vegas. She wants the show to be full of high energy and flashy costume changes."
